威尼斯1851The mechanisms of cell death play a vital role in neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. Caspase activity, cathepsin activity, and oxidative stress all contribute to cell death in the forms of apoptosis, pyroptosis, and necrosis. ICT offers a reliable and accurate product line of fluorescent probes to help neuroscience researchers detect cell death through flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy, or fluorescent plate reader. In this presentation, we will discuss different types of cell death, the role of cell death in neurodegenerative diseases, and methods to assess cell death in cell cultures.
